Seniors' Farewell
FAREWELL! :D was great! Received pretty good feedback from the seniors (: let's see.... in the beginning, people were just sitting around in their own clusters playing cards, chatting or just stoning (J2 girls, felt so bad for them) But the second half was a blast! Had tug-of-war over deborah's swimming pool! first person pulled in was.... SELWYN CAVEMAN! haha! :D super hilarious.
Of course, after a while, there was a mass dunking session. Well, despite my faint squeals of, "I"M SICK!" or "NOOOOO" I got thrown in by greg. thanks alot toe, wonderful classmate you are. Bimb is the queen of jacking herself, seriously. She ATTEMPTS to pull people in, falls in herself, gets up, stands by the poolside and gets owned again ;) mmhmm.
Finally, we put the pretty tealights+paper boats (thanks aaron and victor for the idea and making the boats) on the water (: Pretty sight, but chinks that water buffalo had to create a tsunami and yea well.... just imagine all the boats capsizing and becoming mushy. That was about it I guess... HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY: throwing chiam into the water. yepp, his poor hair. HAHA
Stinky and Stinko's Farewell
After 9 years trapped in that huge tupperware where they have been fed and cleaned studiously by Dewi, dad and I finally released my two terrapins into MacRitchie waters. Now they have to learn how to fend for themselves from the ferocious monitor lizard plus the speeding canoes :/ But firstly, I hope their still alive....
6.45am: arrived with dad at the the "before limboseng blue windy path on stilts" place where we always run through. Decided on the perfect location to throw stinky and stinko. Stinky (the bigger one) flew into the air, landed with a piak, came out of his shell and started swimming.... DOWNWARDS. Thought to myself "shit, what's wrong with it?!" It was then I realized that.... for the past 9 years it has lived with the Heng family, it hasn't learnt how to swim -_-" You see, the water level's usually up to the bottom of its shell, so yeahhh...
Next up, stinko (the shy one) Throughout the entire time when I carried it from the car to the launch point, it retreated into its shell :( :( poor thing must have been traumatized so badly. So anw, I threw it into the water, hoping that it would come out of its shell..... PLOP it went, and then..... it started SINKING. I was just yelling "SWIM SWIM!" but yeahhh... it just sank -_-" hope it started swimming after I left :/ omgg..
so, I hope my two terrapins are happy swimming around in MacRitchie now. To think of it, I didn't even take a picture of them! haiya, nvm. All terrapins look the same anyway.
To all ROWERS: If you see any terrapins near your boat, please don't whack it with your paddle, or I'll whack you.
exciting day.
sighhh I shall spam cough medicine and rest now.
bye friends.
